In order to minimize the potential of the H1N1 virus to spread throughout camp this year, please consider receiving a flu shot while it is still available. Vaccination against Pertussis (Tdap booster) is also recommended for renewed protection against the highly contagious bacterium. As well, because of the recent measles outbreaks, if you have not previously contracted the disease or if you have not been immunized, please consider receiving the measles vaccine. This year, full COVID-19 vaccination as defined by the CDC (most-recent bivalent vaccine) is high recommended but not required for all Special Camp attendees, to minimize any chance of severe outcomes in the event of COVID-19 exposure.
